Cambridge Precision
is an ever-growing company, offering a complete range of high quality
CNC machining and fabrication services to a diverse range of high
technology industries.
Since it’s foundation in 1992, the company has
always looked to expand and improve the facilities it offers, with
continual investment in capital equipment and an on-going commitment
to the support areas and philosophies necessary to assist customers in
achieving their business objectives.
In 1996 Cambridge Precision introduced a
company-wide computerised production management system. With on-time
delivery and the ability to be flexible becoming ever more critical to
today's rapidly changing market place, the company is able to provide
real-time progress reports and schedules to manage resources
accurately. This allows a full range of modern management techniques
to be implemented, namely: Just In Time (JIT), Kan-Ban and Ship to
Stock (LRS).
The philosophy of the company is
to supply a quality product on time and at a competitive price. In
order to achieve that goal particular emphasis is placed on:
expertise, experience, capability, reliability and quality.
In addition, Cambridge
Precision offers far more than just a sub-contract manufacturing
facility. By working closely with clients to understand their
requirements, services may be oriented to offer individual solutions
and to effect a smooth supply chain management through: Project and
Contract Management, Design Advice, Prototyping, Pre-Launch
Co-ordination, Volume Manufacturing, Full and Sub-assembly and
