Production Operative

Cambridge Precision currently have a vacancy for a Production Operative

Main Duties include: -Deburring machined components, masking finished parts, laser engraving, assembly work, also may be required to run machinery and any ad hoc jobs as and when required.

Person specification: -

High degree of dexterity

Driving License preferred but not essential

To be able to work alone and part of a team

Some Manual handling is required

Must be flexible and adapt to change quickly and efficiently

Hours – 25 to start but may lead to full time of 41.5 hours (Monday to Friday)

Salary – dependent on experience

Start date: ASAP

Materials Stores person

 Cambridge Precision currently have a vacancy for a Materials Stores person

 Main Duties include: -

Booking in Material (Ali/Stainless steel etc.) using our MRP system, delivering material around the sites using Forklift or Electric Cart, Stock Taking, Working to QC procedure,ad hoc jobs as and when required.

 Person specification: -

Computer literate

Driving License

Forklift License

To be able to work alone and part of a team

Some Manual handling is required

Must be flexible and adapt to change quickly and efficiently

 

 Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

 

Hours 41.5 per week (Monday to Friday)

Salary – dependent on experience

Apprentice Engineer.

Due to Cambridge Precision Ltd continuing growth, we are extremely pleased to announce we are currently seeking to expand our Apprentice Engineering program.

We are currently looking for suitable candidates to fulfil our current engineering apprenticeship needs.

On offer is a full apprenticeship which will ultimately finish with the right candidate being able to program, set and run a full 5-axis machining centre.

Working within a growing SME and offering a full comprehensive apprenticeship which will include milling, turning and inspection.
