ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management Standard
06 March 2017

I am extremely pleased to inform All, of our most successful stage two audit to the ISO 27001 standard. This was conducted by a UKAS accredited company ACS registrars a new certification body to the company.

The aim of compliance to the ISO 27001 standard is to help us to establish and maintain an effective Information Security Management System, using a continual improvement approach.

We will be able to prove and systematically examine any risks to the organisation’s information & site security. CPL has put in place policies & procedures to manage and mitigate identified risks.

The intention is that we will be able to design, implement, maintain and continually improve a set of controls and measures to manage any threats to the information we hold.

Most will already be aware of the extensive work put in to upgrade the now out of date CCTV security system. This new accreditation has enabled us to align our policies with the best practices; it will also ensure legal and regulatory compliance in terms of data protection.

Compliance to the standard will gain a competitive advantage for CPL in providing our clients the knowledge that their information will be secure by minimising the risk to potential security breaches, which in turn will help us protect our reputation of ‘excellence every time’.
