Another Accreditation triumph for CPL

After a thorough three day audit we are pleased to announce the assessment for our re-certification of ISO27001 Information Security standard, has been completed.

ISO 27001 is the international standard that lays out the specifications for implementing an ISMS (information security management system). Increasing pressure from regulators, clients and the public for better assurances about the way in which organisations manage confidential and sensitive data has resulted in a complexity of criteria and an ever more stringent audit process.  At CPL, although this gives us some extra work, we recognise that the investment in our systems and processes is absolutely worth it – assuring clients that we operate to the highest standards regarding confidentiality and data security.

With 3500 written words and 17 pages of conformance audit, I am extremely pleased and relieved that our assessor is going to recommend that we continue to be certified to the standard.” explained Andrew Wierny, Quality Manager. “This is our first re-certification to the standard and we were delighted to get such positive feed-back from our assessor.  He expressed how impressed he was by our approach to all the certifications and how we use them to continually improve our business. He also commented that it is most unusual for a manufacturing, SME to gain such an accolade as ISO27001”.

Many thanks to all here at CPL, who supported this audit, and made it run so effectively and effortlessly.
