As the Cobotic hub at Cambridge Precision Ltd expands, the team have been looking at ways to streamline processes and agreed that installing a dedicated ‘Co-ordinated Measuring Machine’ (CMM), would enable engineers in that area to test components themselves, directly after manufacture, spotting any issues at the earliest possible opportunity and addressing them immediately.  Work still goes through our normal Quality Control processes but the addition of this frontline facility should radically speed up fault-finding and increase high quality productivity.

The CMM is now in place and being put through its paces.
